On 8 March 2018, a small brown snake was found on the middle of the road behind Hotel Sea Homes in lakeview colony, campal, panaji, goa at approximately 7 am in the morning. The snake was approximately one feet long, and had brown patches on it. The pavwala who was distributing bread in the area and his customer, a senior citizen first noticed the snake
It appeared to be a baby snake either kept by someone there or from the empty plot of land in the vicinity. the empty plot is overgrown an has plenty of plants . However it is surprising that the snake stopped in the middle of the road.
Within a few hours, the small snake is likely to be killed by passing vehicles , especially cars
