It is a Great Day Today

My brother and I went shopping for monuments in Newark NJ for his wife who just passed last year. He was not ready to go out and get a stone for a long time, so I told him when he was ready that I would make sure to clear my schedule so that I could go out with him. I knew that there were a few places to go, but I wanted to see what was out there to pick from. When you look at a catalog it could be pretty hard to figure out how big the features of some of the fancy stones are. Even with measurements, it could be really hard to try to imagine what it will look like. Since the stone is forever, I wanted to make sure that he was ready to look so he did not feel rushed, or pick out something that he was not going to like later on in time.

My brother and I went to a few stores and we did not find anything that we thought would represent her well. He said that she liked butterflies so we were going out to look for something that had either a butterfly or some pretty insect on it. We finally made our way to a place that many people said had a lot of things to chose from. When we got there, it looked like a large lot filled with stones. We were about to leave when he wanted to look at some stones in the back and out of the way. As soon as we got there, we saw the perfect stone with a butterfly on the top. It was really great to find and we both cried our eyes out when we saw there was a real butterfly on it, a true gift.

A Storm Took Down a Tree

Storms never scared me when I was younger. Now that I am older and a homeowner, I admit that I do get a bit frightened when there is a thunderstorm. The noise doesn't scare me at all, and I find it to be peaceful actually. What does bother me is the lightning. I have a lot of trees around the house, and my worst fear came true a few weeks ago. I needed to hire a Nassau County tree removal company because lightning struck a large tree right next to the mailbox. Part of the tree came down on the mailbox, and the other part was leaning at a dangerous slant.

I knew I needed to get someone out here quickly. I had no idea how fragile the tree was, or at least the part that was still standing. The part that fell was not blocking the road at all, but if the other one fell at a different angle, it could. Continue reading A Storm Took Down a Tree

Due to high pollution levels turtles nesting at different sites in goa

Most of the turtles nesting in goa are olive ridley turtles and they have nesting sites in morjim beach and some beaches in canacona
there are special facilities for the turtles at these beaches
However because of pollution and other factors, these turtles are now nesting in other beaches
The media reported that a turtle nest with eggs was spotted at calangute beach
The forest department was notified and the eggs were relocated to the beach in canacona for hatching

Goan mainstream media covers Olive ridley turtles extensively

There are many animals in goa, like cows, pigs, birds like comorants, pigeons, magpie robins, bulbuls. These animals are getting almost no coverage in the mainstream media in goa, there are almost no articles about them.

On the other hand, the Olive Ridley turtles which come to the beaches of goa to lay their eggs, are getting a lot of coverage in the mainstream media in Goa.

The newspapers will carry almost no news or information of the red eared slider turtles which are widely available in the pet shops, only they are repeatedly carrying the news of the olive ridley turtles.
It would be interesting to find out the reason why the goan mainstream media is only covering olive ridley and does not have news of other types of turtles.

Ratsnakes, pythons are the most commonly found snakes in goa

It appears that ratsnakes, pythons are the most commonly found snakes in goa. The newspapers are periodically reporting the snakes which are found in different areas of goa, especially those which are caught by snake catchers.

It appears that ratsnakes and pythons are the most commonly found snakes in goa, especially since goa has a huge populations of rats, mice who are allowed to run amok. In Mumbai, it is very rare for a mouse or rat to enter a house, especially for a person living on the second or third floor of a building. However in goa the mice and rats are flooding homes, and no action is taken to get rid of them.

After the snakes are caught, they are usually released in the jungle by the snake catcher.

Sitara another irrational snake based television serial

It appears that after Ekta Kapoor's Naagin became extremely popular, colors decided to have another snake based serial
The serial Sitara is supposed to be broadcast at 10.30 pm from December 3, 2018 and is replacing Bepanah, which was a far more realistic serial.
The promos of the serial show that the main character of the serial is a "Vishkanya", or poisonous woman .
In a clear example of irrational behavior, the promos say that instead of blood, there is poison flowing in the body of the woman which is impossible.
It would be interesting to find out the profile of those who are wasting their time to watch these snake based serials which are unrealistic

This serial shows the lack of scientific temper in India, the reason why experienced engineers with good JEE rank are subjected to identity theft by the state, central government, ntro, raw, cbi, security agencies , why india is the largest importer of defence equipment as the indian government falsely claims that google, tata supplied goan call girls, cheater housewives, school dropouts, document robbers and other lazy greedy fraud women who never answered JEE have the impressive resume, savings of the experienced engineer to pay all these fraud engineers a monthly raw/cbi/indian government salary

However the popularity of this irrational and unscientific serials explain to some extent why the fraud indian intelligence and security agencies get away with identity theft rackets on experienced engineers with a good JEE rank, because indians are only outwardly modern, mentally they are still very backward

Snake based serials with Vishkanya are very popular indicating irrational behavior in India

One of the most popular television serials on Colors is Naagin
It is an extremely unbelievable television serial, that a human being can change their shape and become a snake is simply impossible
Anyone who has studied science, will realize that the serial is unrealistic, it is only a science fiction story
However it appears to have a big fan following, and good TRPs
So it appears that indians love these kind of serials.
To be fair, the serial has very good looking actors and actresses, and is produced by Ekta Kapoor

Fearing poisonous snakes people avoid sitting in park in miramar/campal area

The newspapers reported that the park in miramar/campal area near Krishi bhavan, is not well maintained. A few years ago, the area was developed into a garden, and was well maintained.
However it appears that in the last year, not much care is taken of the garden. Many of plants in the garden have dried or the shrubs have overgrown
So though there are benches provided in the park, the newspapers reported that people are avoiding sitting on the benches because they are afraid of being bitten by snakes, which may be poisonous

On one hand, the google, tata sponsored kolhapur born school dropout cbi employee gujju housewife naina, who looks like sneha wagh' chainsmoking bespectacled husband, is harassing the domain investor and everyone associated with her, falsely claiming that the few drying plants in her house are causing mosquito bites and dengue, while snakes are roaming around freely in the area

Instead of harassing harmless citizens for growing plants, why does google, tata sponsored kolhapur born school dropout cbi employee gujju housewife naina and her chainsmoking bespectacled husband, do something to get rid of the snakes in the area.

Ratsnake enters judges Chamber in New panvel

During the monsoon, trees and plants grow very fast in most coastal areas in India, and the number of snakes, frogs, and other animals also increases.
The media reported that a snake had entered the chamber of the judge in the court at New Panvel.
This caused chaose in the court house, though the snake was a non poisonous rat snake.
As is the standard practice in most parts of india, a snake catcher was called to catch the snake, so that normal activity could resume.
It also highlights a problem which the indian media does not cover, the snake probably came to the court room to catch and eat rats
Rats and mice are a major problem in many places in India, and there are few reliable solutions for getting rid of the rats and mice.

Green snake in train compartment causes train delay in Mumbai

The newspapers reported that a green tree snake was spotted in the 8,33 am Titwala to Mumbai cst train in August 2018. Some commuters noticed the snake in their compartment near thane station, raised an alarm, and the train was halted at the Thane station
The train commuters exited the compartment and some railway staff entered the compartment, caught the snake and removed it from the compartment, so that the train could run on its normal route
However due to the halting of the train with the snake, the central railway time table was disrupted and a large number of trains on the central line in Mumbai were delayed for several hours that day , causing inconvenience to the millions of railway commuters.
Some people allege that the snake was a prank played on the railways by unidentified persons. However the fact remains that the trains are halting in very remote areas, near forests where there are snakes and other wildlife.
