Most of the turtles nesting in goa are olive ridley turtles and they have nesting sites in morjim beach and some beaches in canacona
there are special facilities for the turtles at these beaches
However because of pollution and other factors, these turtles are now nesting in other beaches
The media reported that a turtle nest with eggs was spotted at calangute beach
The forest department was notified and the eggs were relocated to the beach in canacona for hatching
