Gecko or house lizards are commonly found in tropical areas, especially in south asia. Depending on the other pests in the house, the home owner may consider the lizards to be another pest or a pest killer helping them to kill more dangerous and greedy pests like cockroaches. Though they are related to chameleons , the house lizards are usually smaller and not brightly coloured.
